Headaches are among the most common complaints in the population. 90 percent of those affected suffer from primary headache disorders such as migraine and tension headache. In addition to the high level of suffering of patients, economic factors and aspects such as pain chronification and medication abuse also play a role.
The "Headache Day" on 11 September 2021, organised by the German Society for Pain Medicine e.V. (DGS) and the German Migraine and Headache Society (DMKG), intends to raise awareness of these conditions. The " Headache Day" is aimed at general practitioners and all other specialists with the latest scientific findings.
The "Headache Day" is aimed at german general physicians, thus the programme will be in german.
