How do I register for the digital conference of the IHC 2021?

You can register for the congress on the conference website. If you are not able to take part in the live event, you will have the possibility to watch the contents on demand.

Is group registration possible?

Yes, if you register for the conference you will have access to the on-demand area. You can find all conference materials there after the conference has finished.

Until when is registration possible?

Registration is possible at any time before or during the digital conference.

What do I need to attend the digital conference?

To participate in the digital conference, you will need a good and stable Internet connection, your computer/laptop, tablet or cell phone, speakers/headphones and a microphone. Please also make sure that you are using the latest version of your internet browser. If you are using Internet Explorer below version 11, you are very likely to experience problems with the congress platform.

Are the sessions interactive? Will there be a possibility for Q&A?

The speakers and chairs are live in all sessions (even if the presentations are pre-recorded). You can ask questions via chat during the presentations. At the end of each presenation or at the end of a session, the chairs will review the questions and read them out for the speakers to answer them.

Will there be an industrial exhibition?

Yes, the digital conference will be accompanied by a virtual industrial exhibition. The exhibition area is clearly indicated on the platform of the digital conference. There will be virtual booths of our numerous sponsors and exhibitors.

Will it be possible to get CME points at the virtual conference?

An application was submitted to the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) for European CME credits (ECMEC), which are internationally transferable. Additionally, an application was handed in to the Medical Chamber of Thuringia for the CME credits for German participants.

I submitted an abstract – what happens next?

The abstract review is still ongoing. You will receive a note whether your abstract has been accepted or declined by the end of may.
